The Rudder Guitar HopeMaker Bass V SST (Super Sonic Tone)

Is a Revolutionary 5 string Bass with a Lucite Body and strong neck. The strength is a combination of an Aluminum neck with proprietary inside design combined with stainless steel frets. The stainless steel frets work like cross braces. The HopeMaker V string bass guitar redefines the traditional electric bass guitar. It has the new Super Sonic Delta wing look, advanced technological features, and super strong. The body and neck have a lifetime warranty. They are fully green.

The Name and Sustainability

The name is an honor to my father for inventing another revolutionary product the BR&A Super Surface Tension Control for 4 color registration in coldset printing like newspapers in the early eighties. We simply called it the SST.  It is revolutionary like the Super Sonic Overture Passenger Jet being built with the latest materials and sustainability. I am proud to call North Carolina home where my dad invented the SST Tension Control System, the SST Overture Passenger jet is being manufactured and Rudder HopeMaker Bass V Guitars. All are built in NC!

Nashville recording artist Grayson Downs trials reports the Bass is amazing! Sounds and plays like a dream. The Low B string doesn’t lose any tone which is often a problem with 5 strings.

Bass Offers Super Sonic Tone in Both Passive and Active!

We found in our design studies that many venues, especially the smaller, offered either passive or digital sound systems. For example, churches. With our success in working with Seymour Duncan guitar pickups, we went back to them making the Seymour Duncan Bass Pre-Amp System standard equipment in our bass. It allowed the HopeMaker Bass V SST coupled to our Getty Lee Bass passive pickups the versatility to play in all Passive or Active venues from small venues to the largest coliseum.

Lucite Body:
The Lucite body adds elusive midrange tones, delivering more punch and resonance compared to wood. Our Lucite bodies are milled to be lightweight and ultra-resonant, offering stability without the heaviness often associated with previous generation Lucite bodies. 

Sustainability:
The Lucite and aluminum construction of our bass guitar is not only more sustainable than wood but also recyclable. With 70% of aluminum made from recycled material, and all excess material being recycled, the HopeMaker model is eco-friendly without compromising on performance. 

Neck Features: The neck boasts Hip-Shot Tuners in a 3 over 2 headstock configurations. Our aluminum fretboard ensures lightweight and unparalleled tuning stability. Paired with our 6061 T6 aluminum neck, you get all the tone and resonance of aluminum without the added weight. The proprietary cross-sectional design of our necks enhances playability and comfort.
