First we are listening to all of you who play and don’t play our guitars to improve! We are combining our existing features with upgrades and adding new features in the Freedom Performance Circuit to make this guitar one of the best.

All Rudder Guitars have the F.P.C. to begin our quest for a guitar to create your new unique sounds. We do this intentionally by matching up all of our electronics and hand soldering the components for the most versatile production of fresh new sounds with a new clarity. You can now produce multiple and even new types of music with their distinct sound to send into your pedals and amplifier. Everything looks clean on the top of your guitar because of our eliminating the need for micro switches all over the guitar body.
LoveMaker Zenith Standard Pickups:
Standard are the Dual US Hand Made BR&A ACT2 HB or BR&A Asymmetrical Clear Tone Coil Tap Humbucker in the Bridge and Neck or BR&A P90 in the neck. Both are in a matched set.

Standard Switch is the Free-Way ®/Rudder Hi-Lo 6-way giving you both Single Coil and Humbucker sounds. The standard Vintage has Switchcraft 3-way Switch.
LoveMaker Zenith Potentiometers
It includes CTS Potentiometers to match Pick-Up output. Each pickup has individual Volume control and a Master Tone control.
LoveMaker Zenith Capacitors
It features Selected orange drop capacitors on all potentiometers demonstrating how capacitors work creating swells, rotation kill switch and hear full EQ from lows, clean mids, and highs.
LoveMaker Zenith Output Jack
features Puretone 4 Point Output Jack provides dual tension grounds and dual positive tips for optimal signal and lowest possible noise. The dual Tensioned design locks cable securely in place while the increased metal mass to carry a strong clear signal to your effect pedals and amplifier for your unique sound.

Rudder Guitar Features Found on LoveMaker Zenith Semi-Hollow body are not limited to our Zenith Models. All of our guitars share these great features. We Suggest You Check If Your Guitar Has These Features:
1. Masked Binding All LoveMaker and Joymaker models have “masked” binding standard. The top of the guitar is masked off from the side, allowing the natural beauty of the wood top to show around the guitar.
2.The Rudder Speed Sensitive Tone Neck or SST Neck
It is The Quest for More Neck Speed, Reach and Comfort. This is an example of my dad’s ongoing inspiration that we are always searching for a better way and will incorporate it! It includes the following: The Friendly Handshake Grip Neck, 12 O Clock High Feature, Same Muscle Memory, and Extra Strength Set Neck.
3.The Friendly Handshake Grip Neck
Rudder Guitar wants more speed, reach and comfort with our necks. Our neck qualities are a combination of all our features working together in harmony to give you more speed, reach and comfort. The PeaceMaker, JoyMaker, JoyMaker Deluxe, and LoveMaker are a bit different than your standard West Coast and Tennessee Favorites. All three models have the same neck scale of 24.562" and other modifications. The RG neck is a hybrid combining CNC and skilled luthiers working on the neck and fret board. The neck is finished with satin or gloss polished for speed. The repeated result is The Rudder Guitar Neck is like a friendly handshake you remember for life. Try a Rudder Guitar if you always think about hand and finger size in choosing a guitar. Rudder Guitar gives you a comfortable handshake Grip Neck regardless of hand size.
4. 12 O Clock High Feature
12 O’ Clock High Features allow your hand to freely travel further down on the neck without making your hand and fingers crush together. Your fingers are relaxed above the 12th Fret giving you something new. Relaxing makes string bends easier all the way to your last playable frets. Your finger speed is increased with more spacing between fingers causing less friction. All this action above the 12th fret when playing those iconic riffs. Once the shorter scale and my fingers finally crossed paths, we wanted the fastest and easiest reach on neck possible. Therefore, we gave all three of our models the same neck specifications. The difference is known from engine noise, road vibration, wheel vibration, etc. making you aware your speed is over 100 MPH in your regular car. When the officer who pulls you over in your sports car asks you to hand him your flying license and you reply I did not realize my speed in this car! Guitar players from all levels of playing ability who tested Rudder Guitars were amazed at the comfort, speed and accuracy from playing above the 12th fret.
5.Rudder Guitars Have the Same Muscle Memory.
Rudder Guitar is aware different style guitars have different muscle memory. I had this problem playing in our praise band. I go straight to the correct fret. For example, I need to play high E. RG muscle memory takes me to the 12th fret not the 11th or 13th on all models. RG has the same 24.562 scale neck for all models. The same RG Neck re-enforces your muscle memory when playing any of our models. The different features on the different models create their own unique sound making performance an easy transition. More neck speed includes higher level of playing right note or chord.
6.LoveMaker has Extra Strength Neck
Two piece neck construction with Set Neck using mortise and Tenon deep pockets The neck pocket is cut deeper to allow for the 12’O Clock High neck reach. This makes for a larger and therefore stronger neck to body fit.
7. The Dual Action Adjustment
The Dual Action Adjustment nut has easy access at the base of the headstock on LoveMaker. A Spoke Truss Rod Wheel is on base of neck on the JoyMaker, JoyMaker Deluxe, and PeaceMaker.
8.The BR&A Performance String Trees have rollers.
The rollers have Positive traction and float with wheel adjustment in action for holding tuning longer.
9. LoveMaker has Extra Strength Neck

10. JoyMaker and PeaceMaker Extra Strength 4 Bolt Necks.
The 4 Bolt attached neck is fitted to deeper cut into the body to allow for the 12’O Clock High neck reach. This creates a comfortable place for your hand to get leverage. We do not need to cut our heels for this playing action. This makes for a larger and therefore stronger neck to body fit.
11. Hug Me Body
When you need a hug, pick up a JoyMaker, PeaceMaker or LoveMaker. These models come with the Extra-Large Hug Me Body cut. Rudder Guitar gives you a hug that is just right!
12. Freedom Performance Circuit or F.P.C
Rudder Guitars has the F.P.C. that intentionally matches up all of our electronics for the most versatile production eliminating the need for micro switches all over the guitar body. It is hand soldered.
13.Switches
The F.P.C. uses the Freeway/Rudder Hi-Lo 6- or 10-Way Control switch which is used in all Rudder Guitars except for true vintage construction.
14.True Vintage construction uses:
CRL Electro Lever switches in PeaceMakers and JoyMakers.
We use Switchcraft 3-way toggle for vintage on LoveMakers
15.Pick-UPS
Rudder guitar designs our own BR&A lineup of pickups and very selective in choosing other manufacturers. Our pick-ups are specifically designed and wired to produce the cleanest sound wave signal origination to send to your pedals and amplifiers. The outcome is your unique sound is produced for your personal enjoyment, performing on stage or studio. My dad Bill Rudder would not build pick-ups or amplifiers unless they produced the cleanest sound. Secondly BR&A pick-ups are wired to produce vintage or modern sounds.
16.Potentiometers
We use CTS Potentiometers with both our vintage and modern construction and offer optional Bourne Low friction Potentiometers with some specialty potentiomenters. Each Rudder Guitar has specific potentiometers according to our research and discussion with our pickup manufacturers to maximize performance and quality sound. All Volume and Tone Potentiometers match up with the selected Pickup Outputs.
17. Capacitors
We match up the right size orange drop capacitors or optional oil filled capacitors to their potentiometers and pick-ups. This combination improves how capacitors work creating swells, giving rolling kill switch effect and hear full EQ from lows, clean mid-range, and highs. The FPC allows the vibration to flow freely through the Puretone 4 Point Output Jack to carry a strong clear signal to your effect pedals and amplifier for your unique sound.

Because my dad would want it! I started working in my dad’s company in separate metal, wood working, electrical and pneumatic control areas and welding. All before CNC and only computers were mainframes. I grew up learning manual lathes, milling machines, bandsaws, etc. He taught me how to discern between different levels of technology.
